Hi Frnds,
I like to share a important security mechanisms in all our gmail account to make it safer. There is a security feature called "Two Step Verification Code".
How it works ????
Two step verification is first we have to register our mobile number and a 6 digit code will be sent to our mobile number we have to enter that code and have to activate this mechanism.
What is the Use ????
If this feature is enabled when ever we login to our gmail account with our email and pwd it will prompt for the code which is dynamically sent to our mobile each time we login.
One Drawback but it can be solved How????
The one drawback is though it is our personal computer we have to type the code everytime which we recieved from our mobile to overcome this we can enable option "Remember on this computer for 30 days" which doesnt ask the code for that particular computer for 30 days
The ultimate use is the security chance of hacking into your account by hackers will be less :). We can view our activity i.e when we logged in etc in the right bottom corner in our mail box.
